Hi, Today we went on a boat to Green Island, which is just off Cairns in the great barrier reef. When we got there we went snorkeling! We wasn't in for long when Justin saw a "jellyfish!" at first he said it looked huge, but then realised it was as big a 50p!! Justin said the goggles must of magnetised it! after our little panic, we went back in and saw loads of different fish & a blue starfish! then Justin saw something else........... a SHARK!!! Justin grabbed my leg & told me to look, we stayed still until it went passed then we hurried to the shore. it was only on a small shark about the size of our backpack. After another little panic we went back in.

We got lunch on the island, but a cheeky bird stole my sandwich! We went back to the beach to get a tan, & got burnt!! Hopefully it won't hurt to much tomorrow! Sam & Justin x x
