After poor Jason's early morning run back to the car dealership to fix our original key, we set off around 10am, saying goodbye to Brenda, Malcolm and Yorkshire. Lazy start, did some washing, then set off for York to drop our car off for the extra key, and caught the bus into York. Is such a lovely old city. We had a picnic lunch at the foot of Cliffords tower - used the jetboil for the first time! The kids clambered on the hillside - not allowed now but reminded me of doing it as a child. Not a good night as em still being treated for her ear infection, meg up coughing and not well, and felix woke crying. Blerghh! Lovely relaxing morning though around Brenda and Malcolm's. Went for a walk with Emily into the countryside and around the village. Brenda cooked a scrummy roast beef and we had Sunday dinner together. After lunch went for a drive through Wolmersley and to Wentbridge (home of Robin Hood) where we had a cooling drink at the village pub....

Well, we did it. We handed over the keys to Claire, said goodbye and were waved off from Caddington Rd by neighbours. Goodbye London! A good trip up to Yorkshire, made it in 3 1/2 hrs including a stop for lunch. Enough time to stop in Pontefract and pick up some wine for Brenda and Malcolm.
