Day 38
Ha-my Eco friends tried to give me GF muesli made with flaked rice - but tasted terrible- think the flaked rice needs to be softened with hot milk? So pushed it aside and just had home made yoghurt-very yummy. Was going to walk 2kms back to get a taxi then couldn't face the stream of perigrinos coming the other way - so Jeff took my pack (see photo) and I skipped along 5kms of very green pretty rolling farmland and trees-not unlike Cotswolds? - then hit the wall - struggled to get stupid protein powder into my stupid drink bottle to get some energy. Then round the corner was Casa Campo! In with Jeff like a rat up a drain for bacon and eggs then she rang a taxi for me. Made it to Sarria in style - met our swirl of friends and had an enjoyable night.
