Last night - the Hospitalero took us upstairs to his little church to have Vespers - purely voluntary but Jeff and Sal in for one and all. Read prayers left by previous peregrinos to strengthen their chance of achieving what they were Caminoing for.

Couldn't sleep, my back hurt, my shoulders hurt, my legs hurt and there was powerful snoring going on

Couldn't sleep, my back hurt, my shoulders hurt, my legs hurt and there was powerful snoring going on :( downed Antiflams and prowled round downstairs until I found a couch to sleep on - aaahhh :)
So had to walk out today to prove I am a Peregrino - walked with the bunch for an hour or so - my walking is getting stronger - yeh. Altogether 10 kms today - yeh yeh. 3 kms was walking from the bus to Ages to meet Jeff. Lucky I asked some guys - eventually I understood their gesticulating and 'Vaya recto' (go straight) along a little cross country track over the road instead of going round the long way by paved road.
