Henley-on-Todd

So Henley on todd is a dry river boat race with bottomless boats. They have lots of mini competitions, like 4 people pulling along someone in a bath tub. Then at the end the vikings and Alice have a massive water pistol fight on mechanical boats.

During the day Laura and I went shopping for sailors outfits. We turned chefs hats inside-out and draw anchors on them. We also drew tattoos on our arms with face paint and got little scarfs around our necks. Looked really effective in the end!

We went down to the race about 1 and the drinking began there. It started to rain for a bit, which everyone loved as they NEVER get rain here. Looks like I brought it with me! While we were standing watching all the competitions the vikings were going round with canisters full of water and drowning random people in the crowd. I tried to hide as I had white trousers on as part of my outfit. But it was all in vain, as they completely drowned me.

It was the most embarressing thing thats EVER happened to me! Everyone could see my arse, and everyone was looking. Luckily, eventually some of the stall owners took pity on me and sold me a towel for cheap. So after downing a few more beers to forget about my situation, i was hammered.

We then went back to Lauras in the afternoon, played some cards. I took advantage of some of the drunken boys and painted their toenails pink!

Then we went back out to a bar, at which point I was dancing like a complete idiot!

Was a very fun but bizarre day!
