This is the largest tree that grows in Australia. It's called a Kauri Pine and grows to several hundred feet. It has no lower branches at all, just at the top so it can get to the sunlight in the rainforest. The skyrail is divided into two sections, one skirts the top of the mountains, and the second brings you down from the top. There is a nature trail in between the gondola stations, and it is a real rainforest.

Here we are on the Skyrail just leaving the station. I wasn't happy at first, but got used to it quickly, unlike some other people in the gondola. (There were only two of us in the car, so guess who the other person was)

The sidewalks are done up in native art all with tile mosaics. Very very colourful.
