Pondering our situation. We ended up backtracking a few kilometres, but nothing serious. We were trying to avoid the Bruce Highway because there is so much construction on it that we were only averaging 60-70 kph. These back roads with no traffic were like New Brunswick, where you can go much faster. However you have to be on the lookout for kangaroos. We saw many on the side of the road, just like deer in NB.

Believe it or not, but the road is washed out from the floods from last week. We have to find a way around. This was not a main road, we were taking a short cut through the back woods.
