After we got back from our walk and ice cream we had to jump in the pool again because it was so hot. Aah, what a life. This is the last pic for today, mates, we're off to bed soon. Tomorrow is a busy day for us. We have to be in the Blue Mountains (close to Sydney) next Sunday night and it's 2800 kilometres from here to there, and we only have 7 days to get there. Did I mention how hot it was today. Yes, it reached 37 degrees today and with the humidity it felt 42+. We had to eat the rum & raisin ice cream really fast because it was melting do quickly.

After a light lunch, we strolled the docks of the Cairns Yacht Club. Pretty impressive. You can see the sky is dark and foreboding. As I write this about 8:30 pm we are in the middle of a major thunderstorm. Thunder and lightening everywhere and raining kangaroos and koalas. We were going to walk to dinner, but instead took the car.

After we walked back from the BIG pool, (about 2 klicks) we were so hot, we had to have another swim to cool off.
