After an awesome time in Prague it's on to Berlin. Our stay at the Pod Vezi was another great experience. Everyone looked after us and went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed. The Prague railway station had us confused for a while. It wasn’t clear which platform we were meant to go to – there was nothing on the departure info board. We asked a few information people, they just said go to the platform. I eventually asked a couple who were milling with the crowd. They, by chance, were Australians who explained the crazy system of platform information being put up at the last minute. Sure enough, 10 minutes before departure everyone rushed to the platform.

Our stop off in Dresden was time for a look around and lunch overlooking the river. We had some traditional German food, but could not find any Dresden Dolls.

We arrived at Berlin Hauptbahnhof and managed tickets to the Hackescher Markt Bahnhof. Luckily the ticket dispenser wasn't too busy. Our sense of direction wasn’t that good as once we got off the train we walked in the wrong direction for the hotel. After 20 minutes of checking the maps Stan found the hotel 3 minutes from where we started.

Once at the hotel we found Mum and Dave already settled in and ready for the next phase of the adventure.
