Ryan Edwards's Travels
Waking up with the return of the sore throat, having got caught in several downpours the previous day, we set off for the rainforest village, Kuranda. The scenic railway was delightful, as was my delight when I posed for photos with a Koala, wallaby and a cockatoo named Gaby! I felt like a novice indiana Jones when the rainfall caused the river to burst its banks...I decided against attempting that crossing. The return journey was via the spectacular Skyrail, soaring up to 500 metres above the forest canopy! All in all an amazing day. But going to bed early as I don't feel that well.....

Agnes Golightly I'm sorry you're not feeling so good. Hopefully you'll round in the next day or so. Gerry and I have the funeral tomorrow
Roger You can't get ill on your hols! What you need is a cockatoo, that'll cheer you up. Glad you got to go on the Skyrail, that looks so fecking awesome! Dose up with Lemsip (or Aussie equivalent, probably something like 'Soft Pommy b****** Sip') and get some good zeds in!
