The thai hold their Royal family in high esteem unlike us Brits. The film and book "The King and I" is still banned in Thailand because it doesn't show the Thai king in the best light. Looks like the independent travel bug has got you? The ultimate test would be across india.....lol Its tough but the best experiance.
