Again back dated...but we had a fantastic time in Chang Mai. Lovely place a managable size and lots of things to do...many of which we had been putting off until we sister had joined! We took a tour to an elephant farm where we saw a show (very humaine by the way for any animal lovers) and we rode on them Hannah actually did this balencing on it's neck! We also went Ox cart riding and saw some of the local tribes people...was very tempted to take some pictures for National Geographic but refained! We saw some magnificent hindu temples around the old town, watched some proper Thai boxing compaired with the 'staged' matches we saw in the Reggee bar in Phi Phi..little bit strange come to think of it paying to watch boys as young as 5 beating each other up for fun!? Becca and i went for our first back massage which was interesting..painful in parts..with a few gymnastic style moves that even i didn't realise i was capable of but which left us both feeling very floaty and springy. My two sisters decided to do another trek on the last day and i decided to do a cooking course on my own. Had a fab time making proper Thai food from scratch..wondering around a Thai food market..learning about ingredients..tasting my creations. Will definatly come back and make some for any one who trusts my cooking (there can't be many of you left thinking about it!)
