I love Singapore! They really seem to have things right here- okay there are alot of rules ie. no chewing gum in the streets, no littering or displaying public affection in public, no jay walking etc. but this is by far the cleanest, most orderly, efficient community i have ever seen. There is only 2 % unempolyment here and people who live here, on the whole seem happier, more fullfilled and content with there lot. Crime is low and the Singapore goverment come do...

We had an update appointment to see the doctor for Hannah\'s ongoing infections and so we travelled back to Kho Samui on the ferry in the morning. We were also due to leave for Singapore early the next morning so it seemed sensible to stay the night. We went out for an Italian meal for me birfday (my favorate food) and i endulged in a lovely large glass of wine..god i miss that stuff- it\'s really expensive here! had far too much pizza, pasta and tiramasu ...

Okay..having some down time here..really love Samui..beautiful place. We spent the first few days on the north of the island in a place called big budda beach. This reminded us of koh Lanta in that it was away from the resorts and so the beach was practically empty- as were the bars restaraunts. I didn\'t mention this at the time but when we were on Phi Phi (i\'m back dating this entry), We were playing pool on the roof of an Irish bar and on coming down to watch the Ireland/ Scotland rugby match (the first match i\'ve seen yet!) we were told there wasa a Tsunami warning about 20 mins prior.
