Well stayed at Picton for 2 nights before our ferry back over to the north island!Hasd two really sunny days which wewere yet to experience in New Zealand, but today it is back to wind and rain!:) Got the ferry back to Wellington this morning and then drove to Miramar which is where Weta Workshop is based, aka where the lord of the rings was made!:) So we took a snap outside had a peek around for Peter Jackson but no luck!:( Dropped the Suburu off at the Airpo...

Went to the International Antarctic Centre in Christchurch,was expensive to get in but pretty good!You never know, one day we might decide to go to the Antarctic for a holiday!:) Had a ride in the Haaglund, which is what they drive in the Antarctic, pretty nifty thing, can swim which was bizarre! As of yet havn't done much here, had a little look around Cathedral Square, lots of buskers about, bought a couple of souvenirs but thats it..tomorrow we are going to the International Antarctic Centre!should be good, then off to Kaikoura to hopefully spot some Whales then back to Picton, then Wellington... then Fiji!:) Have a look at youtube-matts put some new videos up, the haka and glacier!

Edoras! We drove out of the way and climbed for 90 minutes to reach the top of Edoras where King Theodens hall was filmed! The whole set has been taken down and there is nothing to show that it was built there but when we put pictures up it isn't hard to see where Edoras was!
