After exploring the South of Vietnam our journey north began. Travelling in Vietnam is really easy. Open tour hop on and off bus tickets sell for around $20. Our first destination was a little underdeveloped palm shaded beach town, Mui Ne. It has clear ocean water and some wicked waves. We did alot of body surfing and visited the famous White Sand dunes. It looks very much like a desert. We sledge down humongous dunes and I nearly managed to injure my neck after a big fall. Ross obviously had the time of his life and could not go fast enough. We where joined by some Vietnamese teenagers that showed us how it is done and it was great fun. We cooled off in a natural lake in the middle of the dunes and the surroundings a truly unreal. An Israeli fella bought a baby monkey from the boys that they did not care for and this little thing kept us entertained for 2 days...it was very sad to say good buy.
