Next on the map was Phi Phi Island. We stayed in the mountains overlooking the Chanel logo shaped bay. Although it was hit by the tsunami, it still has sandy white beaches with crystal clear water. The only thing was that it seemed that Sweden has completely taken over...I never seen so many blonde's in one space! We met some great Thai locals at our local beach bar and went on a scuba and snorkeling trip all around the island. We visited the lagoon where The Beach was filmed and three further Nature Reserves. The fishes and coral colours where amazing, nothing beats Mother Nature! That evening we got nicely tipsy on the famous Thai whisky and concentrated Red bull (some of you will know the effect this drink has on a human)!!! Isn't that what travelling is all about. We left Phi Phi after three glorious days and we are now in Ko Lanta. This island was hit bad by the tsunami. The rebuilding is rapid and it is extremely peaceful here.Ross and his buddies went off to a proper Thai boxing competition tonight, thought I'd give the blood shed a miss and finish this.
