Today is the day we set off. We are planning to travel on the Kidman Way, from home to the Qld border. The map is all wrong, but I can't work out how to edit it. Our first stop should be Griffith. I say should be, because Roscoe has woken up with a cold and may need to stop earlier. I don't think we will leave here till much later this morning. It is 9.10am now. I suggested waiting, but he is keen to get going. I will add more as the day goes on and catch up when I have access to the laptop. You'll notice I say laptop. I have used IPods and Tablets but I am still more than comfortable with the keyboard and mouse. It's lots bulkier, but who really cares?. Needless to say I don't possess an IPhone either.

Well the best laid plans do sometimes go astray. We found some jobs at home that needed doing before we left. For me I looked at the poor forlorn strawberries and decided they needed some TLC and as for Ross he has been tinkering all day welding this and welding and grinding that. The caravan is still sitting in its shed and most of the food and few other items are still sitting in the house, waiting to be put in the van when Ross brings it up to the house. I can see us, maybe, just maybe leaving here tomorrow about 10ish. We will see!
