We are on our way to Port Hughes to use a voucher purchased in September 2019, which was good to be used within the next twelve months. We planned to spend some of the heat of summer on the seaside in South Australia, but Covid 19 struck the world and the rest is history. So here we are, after the caravan park agreed to extend the voucher to November, on our way, following SA Health Department directions to "not set foot in Victoria" for the previous 14 days before entry to SA.
The last three days have been spent in Narrandera where we free camped at the Old brewery Flat Reserve. The first day weather was great after that it has been cloudy, windy and stormy. Norm and Wendy joined us on the last day of their four months away in Queensland. It was lovely to see them and we really appreciated that they stopped to say hello. This morning we said goodbye as they set off for home in Mulwala and we left Narrandera to go to Coolamon Caravan Park to make use of power and water, for the next three days.
Coolamon Caravan Park is full of caravans, which is very different to the last time we were here, when there were only two caravans. We are looking forward to some fish and chips which is just a short walk away.
