Blog is now fixed but we decided to come home early after a great visit to the gulf country. As for the NQ coast Weather was cooler than expected, caravan parks were full or very crowded and no time to change plans and head west, so better luck next year for our long trip, but there will be shorter trips before then.

I have been a bit slack in reporting that we are finally home after visiting Mount Morgan we took five days to get back home. The photo here is one of my favourites from our trip on Lake Argyle and also a place we would love to visit again

After leaving Mount Morgan on the 23rd August we decided to head for home so we wasted no time and arrived home on Wednesday 26th. Ross was very pleased to see his shed and we were pretty glad to be home and have some room around us, but that will wear off and I know that once winter is upon us again or very hot weather in summer we will take off once again heading either north to seek warmth or south to seek escape from the heat. 21st January We left home today after busily packing the van with goodies for our short trip, but I still managed to forget to complete emptying the fridge. Fortunately Maree finished the job and at the same time scored some really nice potato salad. We arrived at Swan Hill at about 4pm, had tea and settled in for the night which was fairly cool. 22nd January Explored the shops and found an Aldi's I was in heaven. 23rd August You might be wondering why I have such short blogs? It is the only way I can get the map to look anything like our trip. After leaving early in the morning and driving 680km we arrived home in time for Ross to watch the footy at 7.pm. The weather here is not as cold as when we left home so that's a bonus.
