Namaste, We arrived in Jaisalmer by taxi again, as it worked out a lot quicker and easier that by train. It only took about 6 hours so not too bad. Jaisalmer is a town in the middle of the Thar desert, close to the Pakistani border. It is every bit a desert town sandstone brick and very very hot and dry. It was a six an half hour journey and was about 530km along windy country roads with that constant 'oh dear i'm about to die' feeling as you overtake on a blind bend into oncoming trucks. Namaste, Well i am writing to you now from an internet cafe in a very chilled out little town called Pushkar. Pushkar is a very holy town around a lake where people come to worship and visit a Bhrama temple. You are not allowed to smoke, drink, eat meat, eat eggs, kiss, and must remain covered up at all times. People come hwere to wash in the bathing ghats but there are no buring ghats here.
