Hello Poppet!
We have just got our connection sorted out - at last! B.T. have been in Perry Green for 2 days and eventually we are all back with our laptops & telephones and yep, we can now get a signal for the T.V.!!! I very rarely use the house phone and you don't really need one now adays! However I missed the last couple of blogs and was so pleased to see your lovely smiling face being as tactile as ever ,with a Hospital team, that by the sounds of it were excellent! You were, as Ray & Liz have written, extremely lucky to be in the right area to be treated for such a painful and frightening experience. Good girl Julia, she was so good to you and it must have been a weight off your mind that she did all of your Insurance, etc., Sounds like a good egg? You look very at ease with everyone that you meet, I hope that you are not too lonely in your heart. We know that spending time with couples, cannot be easy, but HEY here comes Oz!!!! Cairns, on Monday....you will have a fab time I am sure and this time please go carefully, remember you are not as well as you were when you started out on this trip and your body needs TIME to heal properly!
Dr Viet, his nurses and staff are to be saluted from us Westener's for the care and attention to a Rosie Posie Sapak that WE ALL LOVE!!
I don't know whether or not you have a mosquito net Poppet but Gordon Brown was stood outside of his abode with a mossie net covering the door of Number 10, with David Beckham, Andy Muray and Denise Lewis to start a campaign about....MALARIA! Have you decided to take your tabs? Obviously, it is mainly in Africa but they were taking aliking to your poor little legs as the photos showed us all!
Sweet-heart, you are a walking disaster!!!!! So, we don't want you going near any of those jellyfishes when you decide to go- a- snorkelling in the beautiful waters that you are about to enter on your next Country stop!!! So please remember that there are alot of people that want to hear all about your travelling tales, so don't do too much to soon! We keep telling you this but won't hurt to reiterate the fact that we are so PROUD of you and will "always" love you. Speak soon-and from a lovely sunny England with the birds singing and the skies of blue, just remember...there is all of this to come back to!
Night - Night see you in the mornin...Mum knows!!!
Steve & Ronnie & not forgetting Charlie boy & LIDL LILY!!
Ray And Liz
Hi Rosie,
Glad to hear you're much better and feel strong enough to continue. Must have shaken you up a bit; can you pin point the source of the illness? Stroke of luck you were in the right place to seek help. No doubt the guys and girls in the hospital will get a Chlistmas cad from you this year.
Been back at college a week and the weather has improved to such an extent that it is proving a bit of a distraction. Spring is here at last.
The week in British politics hasn't moved on a great deal except to reinforce the ideas that sleaze in the government circles is as strong as ever with Brown's right hand man resigning over e-mails smeering the Conservative Party. Interesting that you picked up on the political divide that still exists between the North and South and the old divide is still in evidence.
I think your guardian angel was also being distracted over concerns of your illness as he took his eye off City who have failed to make the playoffs, and The Frome Flyer only made it only third place in this weekends Chinese Grand Prix.
Pleasant dreams
Ray and Liz xx
Mummmmmmmmy

hello lovely girl - what a shock to find you've been poorly, hopefully well on the mend now. Been following bits of your fascinating blog as and when - keep it up, clever and adventurous thing!!
Love Heather xx.
Helen

Lucy
Ro ro! I was expecting to log on and tell you to be careful around Bangkok and instead I hear you've been getting yourself into all sorts of other troubles! Soooooo glad to hear you're starting to feel better my lovely - just make sure you take it easy! I had a chest pain the other day so maybe it was sympathy pains for you??? (but most probably it was indigestion caused by over-eating, he he!) RE: clothes dilema...I once met some girls who had bought loads of gorgeous and relatively cheap designer stuff in Milan but didn't know what to do with it as they were back-packing all over Europe. We suggested that they just post it home! If you've spent so little on it that you can bear it possibly going astray in the post then it is definitely worth doing, that way you can keep shopping wherever you go! he he! Or maybe even interparcel it - if you're doing a bulk send!
Keep having a wonderful time. I am very proud of you being so brave in the hospital. Take care, loads of love and hugs xxxxxxxxxxxx

POPPET........Just so pleased you finally escaped....You know that we all want you to be happy and healthy, so stop popping into the Hospital to look at the dishy Doctors...we know, its their white coats that do it Poppet! Go on your journey with love and care, and don't buy any more clothes, cos you'll have to carry them on your back and am worried about the weight of them with your problems!!!!!! Y E Y your FREE to roam around again. Keep away from the protesters!! Although we believe they are cooling down now, literally with all the water throwing for their New Year...fun!!!!. God Bless you Sweet-heart- and stay with someone like your last friends......bless em! xx We are so pleased to know that you are " BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN"......We all love you oodles & noodles...xxxx

Hi all, just to let you kow that Rosie might not be blogging to you for a few days. She is in hospital with a viral infection. She is being well looked after and has a friend with her. They will probably keep her in for 4 or 5 days to be on the safe side.

Hey Blogger! Loving the look in the wet suit! Looking forward to finding out where you're off to next - what an adventure you are having. Nothing very exciting going on here. My hip is doing brill, 80% of breaks are now filled with new growth; plate and pins are coming out in aug/sept - right around the time that all these babies will be arriving and you'll be coming hback to Blighty! Seeing team D'est-Hoare and Bump tomorrow - she's having a little boy! Best wishes, Ellie xx
