I read once the only way to cross the road in vietnam is to run for it with no hesitations. They say the motorbikeas will swerve for you.
Your mums post is funny! :-)
Loving you!!!

Hello Sweet-heart ( on behalf of your Grandad )! We do hope that the journey was'nt as bad as you thought it was going to be! Blimey Rosie do you have to sleep in such awful conditions? I know that you are out there, on a shoestring, but surely you can find better sleeping arrangements....that mouse was yuk and the way that you are roughing it. is making ...us wanna come and give you a cuddle... but will have to wait for that! This blog is beginning to make Bill Bryson...look timid on his travels..I know that you used to read him...Excellent! and the photos ( apart from the Kiiling Fields , which were lovely photos but so upsetting for you to have been and seen what happened) are of girls & boys having a lovely time...It must be hard to move away from people that you have befriended? We, as you know are back on the 6th April and from us both, all we want is for you to be HAPPY, SAFE, and HEALTHY. We are still in shock about you doing this, but love hearing from you. G I R L P O W E R!!!! Speak next week, Gum - Gum and me. x x Will e-mail , soonest. God Bless brave Rosie Posie.xx

Hey Sis, hows it going? Am keeping up dated on your movements - all looks amazing. I see there are many men alongside you in your pics - make sure you pick a rich one. Same old same old back home really very busy at work yarda yarda. Me & Josh have been roped into a DIY day at Christines on Saturday - should be fun!
I like the tan lines you have picked up - very nice!
Thinking of you often - stay safe.

We are getting a bit worried ,about certain activities Poppet! Not only are you allowing your your feet to be wee'd all over by yourself..you are NOW making the poor fish EAT THEM!! You are certainly doing things that you have never done before..unless you have been keeping sectrets from us all!!!
The "Killing Fields" must have been so upsetting, glad that you were with someone and not alone Poppet. I think it was something that your teachers at School, knew too much about and it could have been upsetting at 13 to find out about such action by the Kymer Rouge and all the nasty things that they did to all the poor people and ...yes it was dreadful ,at the time and to have to re-think it again, has made us, and other people no doubt, sad to think that you are over there actaully where it all happened! Golly, is there anything you are not going to do on this trip? I reckon you have done more in a month, than we all have done, in all our years ,on this planet !
Just keep on thinking about how PROUD of you we all are. our Rosie Posie! Nothing will EVER compare with these travels sweet-heart! Go girl....you do what YOU want and all we want is for you to be SAFE, HEALTHY, and as HAPPY as you can be..you look so pretty in the photo.s but then again.....we all know that you are so photogenic..and such a good little person that we all love. Always looked good in her plaits, eh Mum? Be good Poppet, and be sure to REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE LOVED. by all your friends and family soooooooooooo much!!xx Can.t wait for next blog. Although the photo's willl be quite awesome if you were allowed to take snaps of the fields? PLease go careful in Sihanoukville as we try to think of you first arriving there and how scary it must be doing all of this ON YOUR OWN. Poor Rosie Posie...so brave, thanks for being you, a breath of fresh air in this World of ours.....you HAVE MADE A DIFERENCE! I think those children in the Orphanage were very lucky indeed to have Miss Rosie for a couple of weeks, they know nothing different so they are probably being taught now by another Rosie Posie...doing the same sort of JOURNEY.....as you Poppet!!! One that only YOU could have done......and we are still in awe of you. Well done, our little Niece, well done! Just keep looking on the bright side of life and ALWAYS THINK FORWARD Sweet-heart. Speak soon! xx xx OOP POOP!
