Hi Rosie,
Any chance of getting some macro pictures of those bruises - I can see the potential for an abstract painting or two there - you like colour don't you.
Great photos again. Where's the shark that was in the film; thought it mightbe back for a guessed apperance in the new film you saw. Must be great to see all that wildlife in their native places. Getting a bit more than you bargained for perhaps. How's your stock of anti malarials doing?
I can't respond to the sky diving (Joe's forgotten or didn't know I did a P1 in paragliding). Someone I used to know did their P1 in Auss and spent the rest of their holiday paragliding round the world - it's so addictive, fun and cheap by comparison to anything else to do with flying,or jumping with very good safety records if you get proper training.
Well a week in Politics is a long time for all of us. They are still banging on about MPs' expenses especially in the light of The Telegraph getting hold of and publishing a copy of EVERYONES expense claims; the list of everything from Kit-Kats to dog food to barbeques to gardening and dry rot. Their all in it with very few excetions. Wouldn't be suprised if no one voted next year. You're definitely in the best place away from all this rubbish. A glimmer of hope on the House Prices - early days, but some say that the rate of fall is slowing and current thinking is that an upturn by the end of the year maybe on the cards! And finally, some real news, Jordan and Peter Andre are separating after three and a half years of marriage and two kids. We're all doomed!
Well, time for those beans on toast I mentioned last time, bet your not envious eh?
Keep those teeth flossed and let's be careful out there.

So I decided to venture into the photos section today. And excuse me young lady, but when did you stop being pastey? I just saw some photos of you holding a lickle cat and your bosom is positively BROWN! you look like a Baywatch hottie! With angelic overtones, of course ;-)
I am so happy about the cheese. The minute you get back I am making a fondue.
Rosie I am so proud of you for not jumping off that cliff! Surely dangerous seeing as what it did to all your travelling buddies! Now skydiving, on the other hand, is something I can get on board with! But no to bungee jumps from Sydney Harbour Bridge, OK!
Take care and keep blogging, so lovely to hear how much you're enjoying yourself (leeches excepting!) xxxxxxxxx

Poppet...Lovely photos, as usual, have just blown up the one of you looking down at the pussycat, you look so angelic...yea I know you are! Your hair looks AMAZING....as I had fortgotten just how cute you looked with it down...but although not a cat person ( allergies etc)., its a "SMALL" thing!! How are they allowed to keep them in the fridge ? - It is beyond me...their little hearts surely can't take the cold and they look as though they are huddled together to keep warm! sob- sob. NOW JOE....little bu--er, he is not to tell you to go jump out of a plane....!!! He knows that you are a WALKING disaster....God alone knows how your lungs would cope on top of a plane...and your heart may just STOP!!!!! Joe is absolutely right though...it is very dangerous for us "OLDS" to stand on STOOLS!!!!!...Especially...Joe, sweetie...if it has just been removed from your nappy!ha ha ha - Gottcha!!!!!!!... One day, you will both be olds and realise that there is a reason why we all worry....something to do with care & love........Poor Lee, the bruises do look awful and if his back is that bad it will be worse in the mornings and he must stetch it out first thing, not get too wet and the best thing is to feel the sunshine on your spine and pain killers. Please get well Joe Smo...Have a good time at Monaco, no doubt going to be in the Penthouse again?
Sorry Poppet, just thought I would save myself from texting your Bro... (cheeky - but sensible)! I must get out my tweed suit and pearls ! Perhaps you would like to put your pack -a- mac on and walk through Posset in it sometime in September ? We, do hope that YOU are feeling good and by the looks of the photographs...you must be!! I have just made myself some Liquorice TEA, Yogi -Tea --I live on the stuff and on every tea bag - there is an old Chinese Proverb...today's was this..."We are spiritual beings, having a human experience"!!! Speak soon. for two or three minutes - ha -ha - x x x x from us 2 "olds" in Perry Green, and the even older Charlie boy and Lidly Lily, they are nearly 90 in human years...George,really used to love Charlie boy, he is soooooo good and Lily is soooo NOT! Bless em both, went to see Marley & Me, with Jennifer Anniston and I was a mess after the film, every in the Cinema was blubbing, even the bloke in front...he was so embarrassed...about Joe's age and height...I could have punched his lights out because I WAS holding it all back...then he started and his girlfriend cuddled his head...that did it, I was off and everyone was crying and then laughin....not me I came straight home and cuddled mine even more than usual....DO NOT see this film if you are feeling down and have an old dog that has been sooooonaughty..he would be expelled from school.....but the actual film was not the ending of the book, which I had read and it was a happier ending, than the film...........Steve will NOT come with me...wonder why....big wimp.....he lubs our two so much and he says that he would.nt cry...............he wants to be ENTERTAINED and hates sad sloppy's.....Nah, he could'nt stand to see a dog..not to well, shall we say?

PS not doubt Mum, Steve, Ron, Ray,Liz will advise you not to do a skydive when you do get to Aus (the skydiving capital of the world no less) - just to remind you they are getting on a bit and think standing on a stool is dangerous these days!!!!!!!! x
Joe Smo
Hey Sis Sounds like your having fun & meeting lots of new people - keep it up. Shame you didnt have the bottle to jump off the cliff however i remember doing a similar thing and a friend of mine back-flipped landed on his back which ended up being completely black! Not good. However i feel your biggest challange is yet to come in Aus............. Skydiving, you should at least consider a dive its THE most amazing feeling and you will only have to do a tandem which is 100% safe well maybe 99%. Everything is cool back home same old same old although iv been pretty ill all weekend with the flu (not of the swine type). Went on a great stag doo in Newquay last weekend - very drunken 3 days. Looking forward to going to Monaco the watch the Grand Prix in a few weeks should be good - hopefully dad will be able to pull a few strings and ensure another jenson button win! Anyways stay safe, speak soon - skype me anything during gmt office hours x x x x

Hi Poppet, Yes, that is a good Title! My goodness thank God you do not attempt to even swig a little, of those gross drinks! Senseless, you have enough problems with your health over there by the sounds of things without drinking such stuff that will certainly turn your brains into the same sort of brain that the Bar owner has! Please go careful about what is in your drink sweet-heart - we all know that you want to have fun and sometimes, even blank out the times that you were so unfairly - hurt! So please keep to beer, you know it makes sense. We are with you in spirit and hope that your next huge trip to Oz , after Singapore, will be as good as we can only IMAGINE...sob sob...you are a lucky girlie to be able to do this trip and I am sure, when you have come back and been through DETOX...!!!! You will have the MEMORIES of a fantastic 6 months. Please stop attracting all these bugs and other things...a leech...now as well as all the other little bu--ers! You really should have taken our mossie net..even just to put over you at night times in bed. I know that you think that we are 2 oldies that worry, but that is because we love you and care about your health and well-being! Steve made a promise that he would look after you and care for you and he KEEPS his promises Poppet! Enjoy everything you do and REMEMBER we all love you. God Bless. We hope that Lee is a nice chap and your are able to keep that smile of yours and it is nice you have a friend to travel with Poppet. xxxx Love from us 'ere in Perry Green! P.S. Hi Rosie,
Beans on Toast! That's what I started to miss after six weeks in Hong Kong. Funny you start to have these cravings for things your body has grown up with. Can you find an Irish pub that might do you something homely?
Sounds a good idea to chill-out for a bit. Travelling can be really tiring and why rush? There is something in the saying 'slow boat to China' which at times you can empathise with.
I'm sat at home waiting for the Waterboard to sort out a new stopcock box; I wonder what that ladyboy would make of that? You certainly are getting to see a few different things close up. You must be over the worst of that infection by now I hope.
The World is currently waiting for this new flu pandemic to take hold. You're probably up to speed with that. Masks are for the most part a waste of time so don't pay through the nose (sic!) for them if you find yourself where there is a breakout. Airconditioned places are a good place to pick up viruses too.
I'm going to work shortly so we are wishing you happy journeys and cool slumbers.
