Ok, so i am going to start off this entry by saying that i am extremely happy. i am a very very happy and relieved bunny. My camera problems are all sorted. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!
I went into a camera shop here as i had decided to just buy a new memory card and see if it worked, but i suddenly thought to ask the guy and see if he knew what i was on about, and he was like 'yes yes no problem' so i gave him my memory card and memory stick and he go rid of the virus on his computer, reinstored my photos which were on there after all, and then backed up the photos onto a disc for me! I am extrememly happy. it was so easy and only took him abouyt 20 minutes. my card and stick are now virus free and i can keep on using them too. So i have all my photos back. i have now uploaded my photos from Saigon onto the blog. i of course havent taken any photos since saigon, but Julia has been taking photos for me so i will get copies of hers at some point. Phew. Thank you for all your advice, it helped me to realise that the photos probably hadnt been deleted so it made me think of asking the man in the shop!
Anyway, so the night before last we all went out and got extrememly drunk i think it is fair to say. we met some random Kiwis and spent the night with them, only for a huge thunderstorm to mean that we all got completely drenched. The next day we all got a cable car across the sea to a neighbouring island called Vinpearl. It was amazing to get a cable car over the sae, it was so beautiful. the sea is so blue here and there are lots of surrounding isalnds. The island of Vinpearl istself is turned into an amusement park (with really good rides), a water park (with a amazing water slides, on par with disney easily), a beautiful aquarium which had the longest water tunnel i had ever seen, went on for ages! and lots of beautful coral, an ampetheatre, resturants, its own beach with the most soft white sand, and the whole place was clean, had gorgeous flowers (i am trying to use another word apart form amazing here), and to top it all off we were pretty much the only people there for the whole day! Cenrtainly some of only a coupleof westerners. This isalnd turned into a theme park was simple brilliant but also really beautifully done, you would get nothing like this at home, it was like a five star resort just for us. And we werent even going to go there, especially as we were all so hungover (which made the rides interesting). The weather was also great, and i think i can safely say was one of the best days i have had on my travels so far.
Today Julia and i planned to go on a boat trip, but woke up in the morinig and decided we couldbnt be bothered, which was a good job because it has been raining all day. Tomorrow i am going to go Scuba diving, then we are going to try and do the boat trip the next day, depending on the weaher whcih is consistranly rainy at the moment. Going out for Sushi tonight... yum!
