Been a bit slack on the old blog in the last few days and we're actually coming to the end of our 8 / 9 days in Ao Nang with my mum and dad, sis and stu-pot.

Christmas in Bangkok was fab... if we were going to be away from home, then lording it up on the 61st floor of the Banyan Tree hotel was definitely the place to be... just brilliant.

So nice too to get my mum and dad over here... Had a fab time with my sis and stuart too, but getting mum and dad out of their comfort zones and doing something this outlandish has definitely been a highlight!!! Dad 61 floors up in an open air resto... mum splashing across the sea to Islands on a long-tail boat... so good to see them living it up and doing things they wouldn't normally do!

Sis has been fab carrying her (ever-increasing) bump everywhere with her. Stuart has, as always, kept us entertained! It's been a brilliant 14 days!

Ao nang and Krabi are wonderful... Phi Phi Islands, Chicken Island, Poda Island ( a big hit with us all), Maya Bay, Hong Island... just a stunning part of the world and great to share it with the gang!

Rach and I head down to Koh Lanta tomorrow for a couple of weeks, which should be equally fab. We're fast evaluating the itinerary for the rest of our trip, placing extra emphasis on the beach time and less on the travelling around, seeing everything time!!! We'll be off to see Charlotte, Aiden & Connie for a week or so in Kuala Lumpur from the 23rd, but our time in Cambodia & Vietnam may get curtailed slightly to maximise Thailand beach-time... we'll see!!!

Anyway, better dash, Dad & Stuart are wrapping up their piool match and the ladies will be ready for dinner very soon.
