On the road - for the last time through - Bruges…

That's better.
Complimentary water from reception!
straight out to the petrol station - right on our doorstep. Lucky we didn't stop to fill the tank up yesterday! Today we're right on the motorway too!
straight onto the motorway - to Bruges!
some nice roads and buildings on the way into Bruges...
Getting busy...
Stunning canals
Breakky time!
we found a market!
Reading to go again - To CALAIS!
this is peak tourist season!!
Bridge going up to let a boat through!
Back on the road toward Calais – and it begins to rain..just like it did when we arrived 6 odd weeks ago!
So we stopped to put some wet weather gear on…
Lucky..because….this is what the weather looked like!!:
..and this is the queue we had to wait in to get our passports checked!!
The yellow sign shows where to take your dogs, cats and ferrets for a check before entering the UK!
Waiting to get into the train!!!!!!!!
The guy who worked in the ticket checking office got us on earlier train – he said he is a motorbike rider and knew how we felt waiting in the rain!!
More delays! Apparently on the Friday was a 3 hour delay due to illegal immigrants getting onto the roof of the train to try and get into England.
You have to be careful when riding onto the train when it's wet as it's really slippery!
The train magically goes back together!
We met another biker on the train who had ridden over into Europe just for the weekend.
And we're back in England! Remember... now back to driving on the left....
We were so hungry as we'd only had brekky and by this time was late afternoon, so we got some ham and nuts (Ros created a nut sandwich with her ham).
Back onto the British motorways - and luckily it's not raining.
Hitting London traffic...
And we're back to where it all started. 18 countries later and 7800 miles now on the clock. We felt we could've kept going, we got into a routine of living out of the panniers, moving each day, and seeing new places. All good things must come to an end. What an experience!
