Now then. . . . Not that it really matters but I failed to mention, in Sundays mess, I managed to obtain a Christmas tree, now rumour has it there is one missing from the front of a restaurant in Little Italy, however, I HONESTLY found it outside our apartment building. . . . ! No, really I did, next to the bins, looking lonely and need of a loving home. . . . So, it now stands proud in the corner of our room! Happy Days. . . . Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. . . .

Following on from Sunday, Monday was a bit of a write off. . . Not much more to add there. . . . Movies and Takeaway. . . Quite nice really. . .

Woke up Tuesday morning and Dave had disappeared? Dragged off to work again. . . .Now this is the guy that is supposed to be on holiday til the new year. . . But get this. . . He hasn’t even started work yet and they have offered him his bosses job. . . . ‘Only in America’! Well done David. . .

So, just to give you an insight into how I am feeling today. . .Chilled out is an understatement, I have been here for nearly 3 weeks now and it feels like I live here and have been here forever. I am currently sat in a lovely café / bar, have just been listening to the mellow music, had an organic tea and an orange juice (detox). Chatted to a friend online, to keep me in touch with the UK. How nice. . . .

Oh, back again. . . Still in said café, however have just had my lunch (Ok, it’s 3.15pm). If I was anymore relaxed, I would be asleep! Lunch was splendid, homemade Lentil soup and a very nice Panini. . . . hmmmm yum yum!

It all seems to be going so well. . . So, not wanting to disappoint anyone, in about 2 hours I am meeting up with Sue and Julie for happy hour somewhere! Ha ha. . . Well, she is leaving for Christmas early tomorrow, so have got to say goodbye?!?
