Saturday was fun. . . . . Didn’t do much in the day as planned, other than trying to arrange what we are doing over Christmas (hopefully Skiing in Vermont). Also avoiding tourists (I feel like a local now, I hate tourists). We also avoid the busy spots at the weekend, as the people they call ‘Bridge and Tunnel’ come over into Manhattan, so you can imagine, it gets a little crazy?!
I started Yoga. . . . Very good, really chills you out and helps relieve the stresses of World travel ha ha ha. . . .
We then did the traditional Saturday shop and got lots of stuff in, although I like cooking, it’s not really something you do in the city (did I mention how good the food is?).
So, Saturday night we went to see Spamalot! Very good! To Quote “Telling the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail, featuring a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits and a one legless knight”.

My favorite scenes included, the Frenchmen and the Legless Knight. . . I found the show very entertaining, however not as entertaining as some of the other guests did. Only in America. . . They laughed at every bit, even the bits that weren’t funny. . . .Doh!
Sunday was a blurr. . . . hmmmmm. . . Went for some brunch at a very nice French Café. . . . . Then did far too much walking! Still, gotta be good for you, Right? We walked over to the West side again. . . But further up this time, up to Chelsea in fact. . . Wandered around aimlessly, people watching and ended up in this great little Café called the ‘Pink Pony’.
We only went in for a cup of coffee. . . Honest! Well several hours later after taking over the jukebox, which had some great tunes (might I add), we were still there. . . Needless to say, we finished the coffees and decided to have a glass (Bottle) (Bottles) of wine. . . . A good friend of Daves (Megan) joined us and we had some food. . . .Eventually we did leave there (It was now evening). We moved to a new bar and Met up with Sue and her friend from Tokyo (Julie), then lost Dave for a bit and ended up in the local, aka, Lucky Jacks. . . I think we played pool til about 4am. . . Then danced back to the apartment and I was then chatting with friends online til about 5.30am. . . . So feeling a little tired today. . . !
It’s great having my Mac book though, to keep in touch with everyone. . . I can even see my family and chat to them using Skype and webcam! Modern technology hey. . . It’s crazy. . . Well I think that’s what my mum thinks. . ? Nice to see her little boy though, make sure he is well, fed and watered!
Arrrr bless!
Bye for now people
