hiya We headed to a place called Cape Tribulation today which is north of Port Douglas. We got the ferry over (takes 5 mins) and landed on our own little island. We drove all the way we could in our hire car (the rest of the island further north is 4x4 only) and landed on the most gorgeous beach (see picture to the right) We had a long long stroll on the beach and really chilled and enjoyed ourselves. If we had longer we would have stayed overnight but we had to head back to our hostel in Port Douglas. The hostel, Douggies is great, really clean and modern. We are now doing the whole quad share thing with Robs friend and his girlfriend and shared bathrooms and kitchens. Its actually better than I thought and when you stay somewhere like Douggies it makes it really easy and cheap. Speak sooon Shelley and Rob XXXXXXXXXXXXX
