Hi everybody - greetings from the Rainforest ... We've headed off the main highway going North and ended up in the Eungella National Park. We're staying in a 4 bedroom apartment (talk about extravagant !! - no expense spared on this trip !!) which has absolutely amazing views across the valley ...we nearly didn't get here after a massive artic truck had to reverse down a 1 in 3 hill with us behind him - not good !! We went out Platypus spotting last night - we were both expecting big Seal type creatures but they were tiny - very cute though Shell's been very brave today and been on a 8 km hike/yomp through the rainforest along with all the bugs, snakes and lizards that live there - as you can see from the picture she finally stopped shaking enough for us to get a nice photo.. Back on the road tomorrow as we head up to The Whitsundays and back to the beach !! - i think Shell has had enough of this jungle mallarky love to y'all Rob and Shelley xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
