So made it to Perth without any drama or so we thought. Last leg of the flight was long, some very tired people but made it out of the airport with all that luggage and into a cab in no time! Next morning brought the realization that Lucas had left his phone on the plane...ggrrr. Called the airline etc. Etc., thus far no luck. That morning brought us to our little basic apt.at Inner City apts. In a great location, right on the free bus route. Spent the day touring around a bit, went to the Bell Tower, walked around CBD, and booked our trip to Rottnest. NYE brought us to the fair with rides and all, lots of people and fireworks. Now we only managed the kids fireworks at 9pm, but hey,
Next morning (began at 4am) we took the ferry out to Rottnest Island or "Rotto" for the day. Met the local residents, the Quokka and hit the beach. It was long but great day. See pics

Following day was spent around Perth and Friday we took the train to Fremantle, for the market and the very old prison. Lots of cool old buildings there, pics just wouldn't do them justice. Tomorrow we head to Kalbarri
