Today was a great day. Holly drove into the city early this morning with her Uncle Richard and James headed in as well for a doctors appointment. My good friend Cassie and her adorable and rambunctious son, Matteo, came over for a visit at Leslie's place. So nice to see them....Matteo has grown so much and Cassie continues to look amazing as always. The visit was good and ended when we realized naps were needed all for all of the children. We had a quiet afternoon, which was perfect, while we waited on James to come home and then we headed into the city to meet our favorite Decksheimers at the Olive Garden. Poorly serviced by dumb and not dumb, we entertained a lovely evening with Liesl and Brooke rekindling their fun friendship and great company and food. It was great to see Heather's fabulous mom, Lois, again while back at their place after dinner. Karl got Cooper to give a bone to their not so small dog Tipper, which was an accomplishment as Cooper has a lingering fear of dogs. I happily introduced Heather to the Blowfish Poppers application for the iPod, and thus incurred a new obsession in something where we try to beat eachothers' scores. James got to show Heather, Karl and Lois his spitting goat video, while the kids played dressup and had a short lived tea party. It was nice to see them all again. We headed downtown to pick up Holly from the RWB, where she was attending the farewell karaoke and ice cream sundae party, and then headed back to Leslie and Richards.
