We are sitting in a reception area on the second floor of the beautiful Royal Winnipeg Ballet building waiting for registration to begin. A great opportunity for Holly, unfortunately she figured her ballet shoes should not make the trip from Nova Scotia to be with her here today - I hope they will be somewhat understanding until we can find some asap. It almost breaks
my heart peeking into the large studio to see Holly all by herself looking scared while all the other girls are with friends and chatting while they wait, but I know that in a few days she will have made some new friends. We are now sitting at the Partsource store while James runs in to get a new radiator fan and hopefully our van will then stop overheating. Hopefully we will have enough time to get everything done before having to head back to the RWB for 4 o'clock. We are temporarily allowing our van to feel like it got revenge on us for yanking out it's radiator van, as reflected in the outrageous 350 dollar price tag of a new radiator fan from Partsource, thereby making us have to change our hotel at the end of the month from the Holiday Inn to the Super 8 motel..hmmmmm. In the end, it seems somewhat of a draw regarding the extent of the vengeance of the van over this matter, whereas the pleasure of now gaining a free continental breakfast does not fully compensate for the loss of a swimming pool. In the words of the frustrated, "Boo! Hiss!". On a lighter note, the best rationalizing of the day goes to Brooke as clearly indicated through the following discussion: "mom, are invisible people real"......(no response as I am far too busy grinning)....."well, are magicians real"?...(yes, I say)...."and is magic real"?...(yes, I say)..."well then, invisible people ARE real".... cannot argue with that.
