Day 6. In Estella (Star) founded in 1090 Rest day to tour the town and rest the tootsies. We are sitting at the outside tables of one of the many bars/restaurants around the main square with the church on the other side, a cold Sangria in hand. Another warm day and going to be hot for the rest of the week. Really neat to see the families come to the square in the late afternoon. Day 5. To Estella Sept 30 Lynn and I are limping along to an old beautiful hilltop village. Everything seems to be on a hilltop! Passed by a church built in 1062. This area is full of such history quite well preserved and it is overwhelming to try to absorb it all. Each small town has at least one building under construction, usually a very nice house. Wondering whether these are weekend places for people from the cities. Lots of farming, the fields are hug...
