Airlie Beach is the gateway to the Whitsundays. Its a really nice place to stay and we're staying further from the main town so we're not with all the bars and clubs and stuff. Hi again. Mission Beach is a very small town 2 hours south of Cairns. We arrived to torrential rain! then the owner of the hostel told us that its the wettest place in Australia. Hey guys! Another Country Another blog! We arrived in Cairns on the 29th Dec 2008! The flight from Singapore was pretty bad...no food or drink!
