sooo satun... hmm not much to say really.. we wanted to get of the tourist trail an by going here we certainley did... in fact people looked at us as if they had never seen a white eprson before! the best bit about satun was probably the journey down... met a bit of a legend on the bus who managed to keep us amused most of the time.. an if we ever get round to e-mailing him hopefully gonna meet him for new years! well accomodation here was good but a bit out the way.. had cable tv hot water an a massive fridge for 450 bhat a night but where some funky noises cummin from the toilet that did cause a bit of a macedonia moment with us walking to the door holding a bottle of beer in one hand ready to throw at whoever was in there but in the end we just got use to the bogs occasianal glugging! there really isn't very much at all to say about the place.. its just an average town with very little if anything to do.. was possible to rent a mo ped but the few other people had jumped on that idea and there was none left... i think quite possibly the most exciting thing that happend here was watching this younge lad make our pankakes and sort of slappig them around to get the grease off! other that nothing ... oh an we tried to book a taxi to get to pak bara so we could go to lipe oredered it for 11 an was woken up at 10 as it had arrived.. dani was still in the shower an i was still asleep!! but we got there in the end!!
