so just trying to backtrack an fill you in on the places weve bin... had bit of trouble finiding places where the internet is good enuff of squeesing it in amongst all the learning weve being doing as this is afterall a learning expierience an we never try to pretend that were having fun .... no matter how much it may look like this in the pictures!! anyway after we left phi [hi we took the ferry to krabi town.. first time we actually used the lonley planet book and we found a really good accomoodation in there so now we live by it... was grabbed straight away from the port car park by a taxi man who to our disbalief took us to a done up ford sierra topped of with mirrored windows... it was a wonder if we was actually going to fit our packs in his boot next to his speackers but we managed in the end... an boy did we look cool driving along... just wanted to pull into white lion retail park witht the windows down nodding our heads!! anyway the accomodation we got was 500bhat bout 7 quid so not a bad price an the location was good.... fanstatic restaraunt that done food next door with free internet and showed movies every day at 7pm which for the two day we spent there was the time we chose to eat. krabi town itself is pretty boring really... lots of shops but when you live out of a rucksack you carnt really go shopping when you have knowhere to put things, an the extra weight is definatley not needed on top of the weight of items that dani hides in my bag just before we leave each location! either way we can still look around to fill in the time... we was both quite amased at how cheap moped are to buy... and for a brief moment did toy with the idea of buying a moped with a sort of cage on the back to travel the rest of thailand an maylasia but like i sed the thought was brief... after we walked around the town an up to where a new building where all the little monks in orange go to learn we decided to head towards the river... as usual wherever theres water the are long boats ... and with the long boats come long boat men and they can be really annoying... and the one who decided to come talk to us was a right walley... telling us where he could take us on the river an what we could see... we done the usual 'yer well just go get some money mate' to get rid of him an then walked off... and we got about 100 meaters down the road an rearlised there was actually nothing else to do so we decided to go back to the walley who we was sure would entertain us... the man assured us it would be a good long trip and after about 30 seconds of us leaving we rearlised why.. i think it is possibly the slowest boat in the world and the fella driving didamuse us just by looking so happy sittin at the back crossed leged trying to roll his fags an talk to us as he went... first stop was the caves! jumped of on some island an hopped across the stepping stones to avoid the mud and realising the man wasn't coming proceeded ourselves... the caves where up some staires that looked as if the lost boys had built them an i almost expected to see peter pan an tinkerbell at the top... one thing was sure was that they definatley they wern't built to hold my weight and as i climbed them i was most definatley 'cacking my pants ' ( not litrally before u ask) but there was deffinatley section of stairs that were not attached properly.. we spent about a minute at the top before we rearlised we had no torch and all we could here was the sound of either bat or rats were not sure which but also didn't intent to find out!!!... the rest of the trip was just up the river an back again looking at where the fish farms are an our driver did very generously offer to let us feed the fish for 20 bhat each but funny enough it didn't seem like the most thrilling thing to do so we declined. the second day was just a chill out day .. nothing much done apart from booking our next destination.. satun.. i think we paid 550 each for the coach and we once again eat in the best restaraunt ever and watched a film!
