We got the Kiwi Bus from Queenstown at 7am. It was heading to Christchurch, although Ben and I were jumping off at Lake Tekapo to have a quiet night overlooking the lake. Our hostel wasn?t exactly the nicest but definitely had the perfect location. It was overlooking the lake and had floor to ceiling windows so you could sit in the warm but still enjoy the view. Nothing much to do at Lake Tekapo except for the lake which is such a nice blue colour, think it has something to do with the chalk under it. That afternoon we just had a wander and visited the Church of the Good Shepherd (really quaint church overlooking the lake). We spent the rest of our stay sitting outside relaxing, taking in the view.
