Day 22 - Beijing: Great Wall Mutianyu

Today we went to the Great Wall again but this time at Mutianyu. It was fantastic!! There was a glass chair lift that carried us up to the wall. It was so beautiful looking down at all of the autumn leaves. When we reached the wall, the view was amazing, we could see for miles and miles. The walk along the wall was pleasant as it was mostly downhill, with a little uphill. We walked along for 1½ hrs until we reach a toboggan!! Mum and Dad said we could go on it, it was awesome. Dad got into trouble a few times for going too fast and trying to catch up to Mum! When we got to the bottom, I asked them if we could do it again, but Mum said we didn't have time. At the bottom there was also some funny dressed men. Mum said that they were in traditional costumes of soldiers, they had long axes. Mum and Dad had their photo taken with them. It was funny.
