Day 18 - Beijing: Sleep in and Washing

After the past few days of getting up early and sightseeing we decided to take it easy. Mum and Dad slept until 9am got up and had breaky and then slept some more till 11am. When they finally woke up Mum did the washing in the bath. It was very funny to see, she put our clothes in the bath added some laundry detergent, which she bought the night before at 7/11. Filled the bath with water and then stomped around in it, Dad and I laughed lots. It took Mum over an hour while Dad and I played DS. Then Mum made Dad and I walk down the street to get some lunch.

After lunch we caught the subway to a shopping strip that had been renovated to look like tradition China. It was lovely more like something you would see in the movies. We found out that it only re-opened on 1st Oct for their festival, after being closed for the last 12 months.
