Day 53 - Phnom Penh

Today we walked to the Phnom Penh Central Market to do some shopping before we leave Cambodia in a few days. It took ages to walk there and it was soooo hot! We were all sweating a lot and were very grateful to buy a yummy sugarcane drink when we got there. The market itself wasn't great as it was mainly watches, jewelry and fresh food. We didn't end up buying anything but more drinks. After the market we walked to a temple and saw some monkeys playing in the park and walked along the river to a café called the Green Vespa. It was owned by a wonderful Englishmen and we all ate fish and chips! We have been craving fish and chips since we left home and they were yummy. For the afternoon we all watched a movie together and ate dinner in the hotel restaurant overlooking the river.
