This morning we got up early (around 6am) in order to get walking while it is still cool. We did the Angel's Landing walk which although isn't very long, it has claimed 6 lives since 2004!! This is due to the steep drop offs on either side of the ridge you walk along. There are chains provided for sections of the walk and a bit of scrambling is involved. Still, for a couple of old 'Via Ferrata' pros like us, it proved no bother. We even went straight on to complete another (very) short walk straight after where we had our lunch (called the Riverside walk). We then went the full hog swimming in the Virgin river in the afternoon which was cold but cold water is good in this heat! Ps. I should apologise now for the pics in this blog, my phone is rubbish for taking pics so they are a mix of photos and pictures of postcards!! We will hopefully be uploading some proper pics soon!
