Time for an update, night life of Cordoba and winetour in Mendoza.

From Salta we went further south, first stop was Tucuman

Tucuman

We arrived in Tucuman during night time, first night we meet my friend, who got us a good hostel to sleep at. Went for dinner at a local place, likely to be a pizzeria, we all got pizzas with a lot of cheese which appently is commen in Argentina, almost no toppings and 1 kilo of cheese, must admit I left the cheese! Last time pizza in Argentina!

The second day we went for a hike up to one of the mountains next to the city, it was unbelieveble hot, so after 1 km we decided to take the bus, had 2 liter of water each, this surely wasent enough for a 3 hours hike. Cought the bus went to the top of the mountain, when we got there we got quite surprised, there was a Christ statue, though this was a Rio thing, we looked it up and realised its a South American thing, each country have a Christ statue watching over the cities, just for the fact Columbia have the tallest Christ statue. More fun is that the Christs posing in defferent ways, the one in Tucuman is showing the peace sign.. Funny!!! At the night we went out to eat at a semi jazz place, got a little bite and went to a pool bar played a few times and after went for a tablesocer game.

Cordoba

Great great city, so many cool places and people, Cordoba is a student city lots of universities, very young city with a famous night life. We got there wedneysday stayed in a hostel called Balush, very tiny and noisy hostel cant recommend it. We got there they actually had no space left for us, so we stayed in the staffs apartment, quite nice apartment, think if you had it for yourself it would be a really great place. After we got selted we talked with our friends from Cordoba and they picked us up same evening and went for food at a jazz bar. The bar had a perfect atmosphere and a liveband which was very skilled, food was good and tried some defferent drinks, I got the Capone and my mate Clint Eastwood, nice place, cant unfortunaly dont remember what the rest of our friends got.

The day after we changed room to a normal 4 bed dorm, a little sad, the apartment was nice. We walked around the city and got many good empressions, beatifull city, looked a bit like an eastern european city, cant tell which. In the evening my mate in a party mood and really wanted to party, so we split up, so he could do some more partying. I got picked up by our friends and we went to a restuarant called "apartment" Even though i wrote earlier i didnt wanted more pizzas in Argentina, we actually ordered some pizzas, it turned out to be the best pizzas in South America i guess, they were really great. Had a really fun night and meet a lot of cool people, all from Argentina.

The third day, we planned in the morning to go out in the evening, we sleeped for a long time, so we were ready. My mate changed hostel to Tango hostel and I went to stay in my friends apartment, awesome apartment! At the day we sorted out our stuff relaxed. Because we stayed at my friends place, i wanted to make them a good and healthy dinner, we went in the supermarket trying to find some food similar to danish, almost impossible. But I actually found Pitabread (called arab bread here) lots of vegetables and a homemade garlic sauce. We served dinner at 22:30 normal dinner time in Argentina and as far that I know they all liked it :) After we started drinking (Vodka, sparkling water) and (coke, Fernet) and made our own game with a dice, literally it was all about taking shorts every 5 minutes all and i mean ALL got wasted, went to a club stayed there for 30 minutes and we all went home... But again great fun and some of the best friends ever!

At the Fourth day, we were pretty smashed and tired none of us could really do anything other than stay in bed. Got up at four sorts out all the tickets and accomendation for Mendoza. For dinner our friends were so good they made us a classic Argentinian dinner, some good steaks with redpeppers, onions and mashed potatos, tasted really good ;) THANKS!!!

Conclusion: Go to Cordoba one of the best places in South America, and for the party you have to go there...
