Driving into the steelworks at Whyalla. I was lucky enough to be given the inside tour looking at the blast furnace, coke ovens, steel making and rolling mills. It was awesome seeing hot lava steel, sparks flying etc, just as you would imagine a steel processing plant.

We've arrived at Whyalla on the Eyre Peninsula. It's a really interesting place and mostly focused around mining and steel production. We have friends here, Joel and Jess and their two boys Nate and Jyi. Joel works for One Steel as a maintenance engineer. He has a staff of 70 maintenance workers.
