Train ride from Manchester to London was awesome.....1st class....think we all don't want to travel any other way now! Our 1st experience on the London tube......we got separated as the doors closed before Ken and Sheena got on...but we all caught up next stop. Our accomodations were just a short walk away in a cool little street with lots if restaurants. It was a little more dated than the pics showed, but still ok. 1st day in London we went to Madame Thussauds and went up the London Eye. Madame Thussauds was very impressive....much more than we thought it would be, and we all enjoyed it. The Eye view to see London was spectacular. Our next day we went to Victoria & Albert Museum for The Pink Floyd exhibit....it was visually great...but there were a lot of people and it was difficult to get a good flow going around it. After just about 2 weeks in Scotland and England, we are ready for the next leg in Switzerland. London had some great scenery....but it was very hectic.....very tense environment......very noisy...and everyone is in such a rush! We are glad we visited, but glad to move on.
