Last day in country. Off to train station to head to Edinburgh
Just catching up and updating! Our last few days in and around Aberdeen was wonderful. We visited Glenfiddich distillery and had a tour......interesting to see how it's made....takes many years! Our last full day, we went to the Pitlochry Highland Games.....so much fun to experience a true authentic games.....it was kind of like when a small town has their rodeo. There was highland dancing....lots of hammer throw......track and field (watching the young people race was the best).......and The McLellan sisters favourite: something like 27 pipe bands! It was grand! We then drove on to St Andrews, where, we think, Sheena was in her heaven seeing the amazing course....it is quite the place! We are now in Edinburgh and will adventure out for our first full day! Will post some pictures soon!
