With a bit more of an early start this morning we got packed up and headed downstairs for another English breakfast and a few more games of pool. Then Caz and Molly arrived and we said our goodbyes to everyone and got on the road. It was only a 2 hour drive to our next destination, but we experienced some of narrowest roads yet. It seemed very dodgy but we made it to Stoke Lodge hotel and checked into our rooms. Then we headed down to Blackpool sands- and cafe on a private beach, for lunch, it was really stunning! And nice and warm!
It was then a bit of a rush to get back to hotel and dressed and ready for the wedding on time. We got out the door on time but had a wee panic when we arrived in Strete and couldn’t find the church. We did find our way there with plenty of time. The ceremony was really lovely, and very traditional, it was really nice to be a part of. Then we headed down the road for the reception in a stunning place over looking the cost! It was really amazing. Meanwhile at home Navajo went for a run around the area and then a walk to get some photos of the coast and the beach and look a bit at the township.
The reception was again very traditional and a bit different to what we were used to but it was really lovely - that finished around 5pm so we had a bit more time mingle and chat before the night guests arrived and the party really started! The night was really nice, and really enjoyable!
