So for the course Cross-Cultural Issues in Tesol we need to listen in on people's conversation. That means I'll be following random conversations, writing them down and comparing them in order to do research on speech acts as my final assignment for this class. It's really interesting but it takes a lot of work to gather all of the data.

In other news, my aunt & uncle just bought me a ticket to Oklahoma so I can go and visit them when the semester is done in a few weeks. So I'm excited to see them again and see my cousins as well, whom I haven't seen in about 8 years.
