Bundi is a little piece of heaven on Earth. I had one of the best meals of my life at a small family run restaurant there. So so delicious. The first night I arrived there was a large parade and street festival, and the town was alive with laughs and lights. Everyone in the town was friendly beyond belief, and they never asked for anything but to have their photo taken, which I was happy to do, because I took beautiful photos in the city.
I had a strong feeling to stop in Bundi, and I had to follow that feeling. India is the home of spirituality on the planet, and as long as I follow my inner feeling, I am always brought to the right place at the right time, it's amazing.
My next blog worthy experience happened in Bundi as well. A bhang Lassi is a yogurty drink mixed with Hash or marijuana. I met a man who runs a Chai tea shop in Bundi, and he wanted us to meet his Baba, which is one type of personal Guru. The baba is a spiritual guide and model for people in India. A friend and I thought it would be a good idea to have a Lassi before we met him. I do not react well with Bhang. I get paranoid and uneasy and freak out, I even told people this before I did it. And well, it happened again.
In India, they know the dark energy as much as the light energy. They have gods who create and destroy. This is difficult for me to handle, especially after the Lassi. This baba had a strong energy, but I did not connect well with it. Everyone is vibrating at different levels. But, when I step back and look at it, it is like the Ying-Yang, it is all part of the whole. Everyone has their path to take.
The fears are the illusion creating what you fear. I would think a thought, and then it would happen, instantly, I at least could notice this with the experience. I would think my fears immediately into existence. Frightening, but powerful retrospectively.
I had another time in Bundi where a family invited us into a mourning ceremony. They fed us desserts even while their family was getting over the loss of a loved one.
India is truly the place in the world where people want to share the most, the people want you to enjoy their home, it is heartwarming. It's the place where I am stepping into my power. I can feel it every day.
