When we booked the waterfall trip we also booked a VIP bus to take us down to Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. Day 2 of the slowboat cruise, this time I wasn't as excited as it would be the same as the day before. We boarded the boat 8am, ready to set off at 8:30. Our day started at 7:30am after a not so comfy nights sleep. The room didn't have air con, just a noisy fan and the mattress was so thin I could feel the springs in my back.
